: The work, duties and powers of the District Juvenile Justice Committee shall be as follows. (a) To be done in the district for the strengthening and development of the juvenile justice system. Giving necessary suggestions, advice to the committee for necessary arrangements,
(b) To coordinate the programs of the organizations working in the field of child rights and juvenile justice system in the district,
(c) Under the direction of the committee, to conduct capacity building programs to inform government and non-government individuals and organizations working in the field of juvenile justice about new approaches and programs developed in the context of juvenile justice,
(d) Raising awareness on the issue of child rights and juvenile justice at the local level. (f) To do other work as assigned by the committee.
